چکیده
Background: Clostridium spp. spores are resistant to many factors, including alcohol-based disinfectants. The presence of clostridial in a hospital environment may lead infection outbreaks among patients and health care workers. Objective: This study is aimed detect the aurology using C diff Banana Broth™ assess antibiotic sensitivity toxinotypes isolates. Methods: After diagnosing COVID-19 medical staff closing an 86-bed urology 2020 for H2O2 fogging, 58 swabs from were inoculated Broth™, incubated at 37°C 14 days, checked daily, positive broths sub-cultured anaerobically 48 h 37°C. identification, multiplex PCR (mPCR) was performed perfringens, C. difficile toxin genes, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) determination. Results: In this study, 16 out (~ 28%) strains cultured: 11 - 2 baratii, 1 each paraputrificum, difficile, clostridioforme. perfringens cpa, 7 cpb2, – cpiA, cpb genes. All isolates sensitive metronidazole, vancomycin, moxifloxacin, penicillin/tazobactam, rifampicin. Two erythromycin clindamycin. Conclusions: Regardless antibiotic-resistant, toxigenic (69%) obtained cultured indicating need develop necessary sanitary epidemiological procedures hospital.

Clostridium Perfringens: Spores & Cells Media & Modeling
Clostridium perfringens is one of the five major food borne pathogens in the western world (expressed in cases per year). Symptoms are caused by an enterotoxin, for which 6% of type A strains carry the structural gene. This enterotoxin is released when ingested cells sporulate in the small intestine. Research on C. perfringens has been limited to a couple of strains that sporulate well in Dunca...

متن کاملInactivation of Clostridium perfringens type A spores at ultrahigh temperatures.
The inactivation of Clostridium perfringens type A spores (three strains of different heat resistances) at ultrahigh temperatures was studied. Aqueous spore suspensions were heated at 85 to 135 C by the capillary tube method. When survivors were enumerated on the standard plating medium, the spores appeared to have been rapidly inactivated at temperatures above 100 C. The addition of lysozyme t...
متن کاملActivation and injury of Clostridium perfringens spores by alcohols.
The activation properties of Clostridium perfringens NCTC 8679 spores were demonstrated by increases in CFU after heating in water or aqueous alcohols. The temperature range for maximum activation, which was 70 to 80 degrees C in water, was lowered by the addition of alcohols. The response at a given temperature was dependent on the time of exposure and the alcohol concentration. The monohydric...
